Terms of Service
Last Updated: April 29, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to MuzBook ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your use of the MuzBook platform. By using our Platform, you explicitly agree that MuzBook acts solely as an intermediary marketplace connecting Clients with Artists.
2. The Marketplace Role (Intermediary Only)
MuzBook provides a technological infrastructure to facilitate bookings. We are not a booking agency, we do not employ the Artists, and we are not a party to the actual service contract between the Client and the Artist. Any legal agreement for a performance is strictly bilateral between the User types.
3. Account Types & KYC
MuzBook offers two types of accounts:
- Clients: Seeking to book live music.
- Artists: Independent service providers.
Verification: We perform basic KYC (Know Your Customer) checks on Artists, but this does not constitute an endorsement or a guarantee of service quality.
4. Payments & Service Fees
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. By using the platform, you agree to pay the Service Fee, which covers the maintenance and security of the marketplace. This fee is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed by the Artist.
5. Force Majeure
Neither party (Client, Artist, or MuzBook) shall be liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, pandemic, government regulations, or natural disasters. In such cases, MuzBook’s liability is limited to the mediation of a refund or credit.
6. Off-Platform Policy
Attempting to circumvent the platform to avoid service fees ("Fee Avoidance") is strictly prohibited. Engaging in off-platform transactions discovered through MuzBook will result in permanent account deactivation for both parties involved.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuzBook shall not be liable for any damages (personal injury, property damage, or financial loss) arising from a performance or an interaction between Users. Users agree to resolve disputes directly with each other.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Romania (Instanțele din România).
